Mudbox VS Zbrush:
Both of these programmes are digital sculpting tools that you can model, texture and also paint. Both of these programmes are also used for creating and designing models and other components in games like character models for example. ZBrush is also slightly harder to use compared to Mudbox if you are new in the game industry so Mudbox would be the superior option simply because it’s easier to use.

Maya vs 3DS MAX:
Both of these programmes are used in the game development industry and are the most popular programmes to use, and used for 3D models and graphics. First Maya is very customizable and is one reason why it is found a lot in the film industry because studios like to be able to create their own set of tools. Maya is also known to be the go-to app for 3D animation for its robust rigging and animation tools.

3DS MAX on the other hand is mostly known for its powerful modelling tools allowing you to create complex 3D models. 3DS is also simpler to use compared to Maya for someone new to the game industry as Maya is more complex and harder to use.

These are my robotic joint that I created on photoshop, I used skeleton joints as inspiration and added a robotic elements to it to link it to my robot project.

This is my finished final piece I made on Photoshop, I chose to develop this silhouette as it was my favourite from all of the other silhouettes I drew.

This is my attempt at re creating a piece of art work from Yun Ling which is the artists that I chosen. I created this using Photoshop and looking back on Yun Ling's original painting for reference.

This is my robot arm that I designed on photoshop, The cog acts as an elbow joint and the chains move round controlling the arm.
